- Openvpn Client Download Windows 10 Download
I would like to download this version of the OpenVPN client for my Windows 8.1 (x64) computer:
- First download OpenVPN for windows 10 to setup OpenVPN on windows 10. Copy unzipped files ( saturnvpn-US-TCP.ovpn, saturnvpn-UK-TCP.ovpn, ).
- Jan 6, 2019 - The OpenVPN will be able to give the user full-featured open source that will be to accommodate so many wide ranges of configurations.
OpenVPN is one of the most secured protocols. It can be installed on all major OS. Find out how to set up OpenVPN on Windows 10.
However, I can't find the official link.
On OpenVPN download page, only the OpenVPN GUI is provided.
If I google to find a download link, I only found external downloads (like Software informer, CNet donwload, ...), which I don't trust.

The particular client (openvpn-client.msi) you wish to install does not seem to be available any more on the OpenVPN website.
- It was located at http://swupdate.openvpn.net/downloads.
- This redirects to http://openvpn.net/index.php/open-source/downloads.html.
- openvpn-client.msi is not there.
It is available at OpenVPN Desktop Client Setup -Windows (Hosted by UnoTelly).
UnoTelly is currently offering OpenVPN on our UK, US, and Canada servers for customers who are not able to connect to the PPTP VPN due to port blocks and filtering.

Windows Notes
OpenVPN for Windows can be installed from the self-installing exe file on the OpenVPN download page. Remember that OpenVPN will only run on Windows XP or later. Also note that OpenVPN must be installed and run by a user who has administrative privileges (this restriction is imposed by Windows, not OpenVPN). The restriction can be sidestepped by running OpenVPN in the background as a service, in which case even non-admin users will be able to access the VPN, once it is installed. More discussion on OpenVPN + Windows privilege issues.
Official OpenVPN Windows installers include OpenVPN-GUI, which allows managing OpenVPN connections from a system tray applet. Other GUI applications are also available.
Source HOWTO Install.
The official OpenVPN release for Windows ships with a GUI frontend called simply 'OpenVPN-GUI' and can be found in the .bin subdirectory of the installation path, with shortcuts placed on the desktop and start menu unless unselected during program installation.

I see a VPN Pipe being created between my win10 client computer and AS server (Centos 7) (user shows as logged on, no client log errors). But no TCP traffic (checked with tcpdump) is going to the AS server. When I ping, I see the traffic is not going over the VPN IP network, (172.x.x.x) but rather my corporate LAN. (I watched the packets fly via tracert over my local lan).
How does the openVPN Connect client decide what traffic to send over the VPN and what not to? My network adapters on my client win10 looks like the following (so I have no idea how VPN Connect Client would be grabbing any packets, since as far as my windows 10 box looks, it has one adapter and one gateway for all the traffic).

Generally, there has to be a real/virtual Ethernet device on the win10 device acting as gateway for those 192.x.x.x packets. Right now I am seeing this odd display of the Ethernet Devices (I think the TAP adapter was added by the community OpenVPN client, which I have since removed. You can see it is unplugged). So all traffic is going via our Ethernet 3 connection, which is the Corporate LAN, and my collegues think this is the reason stuff never goes out to the OpenVPN client. Is there a way to set a static route in Win10 so that 192.x.x.x goes to the local OpenVPN Connect client?
One other piece of information. The GET-NetRoutes here clealy slows that the 192.168.0.0/24 addresses should be sent to the VPN 172.27.225.1 VPN client gateway, but that is not what I see really happening.
